7月25日早上8时许,一段历史性的旅程开始了。
At about 8 a.m. on July 25th,a historic journey began.
随着一声汽笛长鸣,中老铁路(昆明南—万象)国际客运列车从昆明南站驶出。
With a long whistle, the China-Laos Railway (Kunmingnan- Vientiane) international train departed from Kunmingnan Railway Station.
经过云南磨憨口岸出境,这趟国际班列将预计9小时后到达目的地老挝万象。
After leaving the country through Mohan Port in Yunnan Province, this international train is expected to reach its destination Vientiane, Laos, in 9 hours.
截至6月3日,中老铁路开通运营已满18个月,呈客货两旺态势。
As of June 3, the China-Laos Railway has been in operation for 18 months, showing a booming trend of both passengers and freights.
这些动车组的牵引电机和牵引变压器,由中车株洲电机研制生产。
The traction motors and the traction transformers of these EMUs are all developed and produced by CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Co., Ltd.
电传动系统的轻量化、集成化、简统化设计,保障了动车组以更高性能地运行,提升了乘客的舒适度。

仅仅5公里的范围内,就可以找到生产一台电力机车所需的上万个零部件的配套生产企业。
Within just 5 kilometers, you can find supporting manufacturing enterprises that produce over ten thousand components and parts needed to produce an electric locomotive.
而且,中车株机仅需8个月就能完成一台新的机车的研制,远远快于国际同行的3年时间。
Moreover, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. can complete the development of a new locomotive in only eight months, much faster than the three years of its international counterparts.
株洲制造的地铁列车已经开始出口到国外,为墨西哥城地铁和土耳其伊斯坦布尔地铁提供服务。中国轨道交通装备变“走进去”为“留下来”,顺着轮轨,源源不断输出产品、服务、技术标准与整体解决方案。
Subway trains made in Zhuzhou have been exported to foreign countries, providing services for Mexico City Metro and Istanbul Metro in Turkey. China’s rail transit equipment has changed from “going in” to “staying”, and continuously exported products, services, technical standards and overall solutions along the wheel and rail.
